GPOY. Still from A Day At The Fair, the short from MST3K: The Rebel Set.
I always suspected this film had nude scenes somewhere.
Barry Mahon’s filmmaking career is about as weird as it gets, from MST3K cold-war freakout Rocket Attack USA (above) to a whole slew of nudie cuties (The Beast That Killed Women, The Art School For Nudists) to fairly grimy roughies (A Good Time With A Bad Girl, Prowl Girls, The Sex Killer) and all the way back around (in a sense) to Rifftrax classic Santa And The Ice Cream Bunny AND Musical Mutiny! Depending on what I can actually get rights for (I’m already working on showing Musical Mutiny at Spectacle) I might just do a full Mahon series.
After the (utterly awesome) Cinematic Titanic event in St Louis, I met the Brains and got them to sign my script from The Human Duplicators!
Their reactions to the script were priceless. Mary Jo was momentarily speechless when I handed it to her, then got really excited about it, asking Trace about the episode and offering me a small salute when she gave it back. Trace joked that “one would think this movie didn’t have a script!” as he signed it. Frank was surprised it cost me $5 - “That much?” he asked - and Joel flipped through it with a quiet “Wow.”
These guys are just so awesome, so good to all their fans, and I’m really lucky to have such a cool piece of memorabilia from such a great show!
That’s so rad. I love these pictures!
Arguably Richard Keel’s finest role.
